Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India along with all stakeholders is celebrating Rashtriya Poshan Maah during the month of September 2023 with the theme "Suposhit Bharat, Sakshar Bharat, Sashakt Bharat". We all can be a part of the initiative. Suggested activities include:
- Awareness on healthy food habits/ propagating Millet based foods
- Setting up/ maintenance of kitchen garden/ herbal garden/ poshan vatika
- Cleaning of water bodies/ practice of rain water harvesting
- any other relevant activity as convenient promoting Mission LiFE- Lifestyle for Environment.

As a part of ongoing Poshan Maah, Sikkim Eco-Club schools are  encouraged to organise various activites. In Pic: Passingdong SS, Mangan District (North Sikkim) having inter house competitions on traditional healthy food also promoting Millet based foods for mountain life.
