International Day for the Preservation of the Ozone Layer

Every year, 16th September is observed as the International Day for the Preservation of the Ozone Layer. The day, also known as World Ozone Day, is marked to remind individuals and governments about the importance of the ozone layer to our survival on earth.

The theme for the 2022 is “Montreal Protocol@35: global cooperation protecting life on earth”, which recognizes the wider impact the Montreal Protocol has on climate change and the need to act in collaboration, forge partnerships and develop global cooperation to address climate challenges and protect life on earth for future generations.

National level Poster Making and Slogan Writing Competition - For School Students from Class 8 to 12

On the occasion of World Ozone Day 2022, National level online poster making and slogan writing competition for school students is being organized. The competitions shall be for school students from class 8 to class 12. Last date for uploading entries is 5th September, 2022 (5 PM).
