In compliance to the central government directives, Sikkim State Nodal Agency (NGC Eco-Club Programme) hereby requests all School Eco-Clubs to conduct the following suggestive activities as a part on the ongoing Poshan Pakhwada March 21- April 4, 2022 being conducted PAN India by the Ministry of Women and Child Development (Nodal Ministry):

1. Gender sensitive water management: generating awareness in women and girl child about importance of water conservation; practices to use optimal water; rain water harvesting, cleaning of water sources, etc.

2. Promotion of traditional healthy food: awareness on sustainable and eco-friendly practices of food preparation, awareness on healthy foods, hand washing activity, hygiene and sanitation related activities, kitchen garden, organic farming, teaching recipes of local delicacy etc.

3. Any other in regard to promotion of eco-friendly lifestyles upon eating habits and water usage.

Kindly share 1 pic only for each activity conducted with mention of Total participants, No. of Girls, No. of Boys on as and when basis till April 4, 2022. Schools can also share any previously done recent activities in this regard as well.
