World Water Day
March 22, 2021
Theme: Valuing Water
World Water Day is marked annually on 22nd March, under leadership of the United Nations. This day is observed to raise awareness about the vital importance of water resource and to tackle the global water crisis. The theme for year 2021 is “Valuing water”. Beyond the issues of pricing, this year theme includes the environmental, social and cultural value people place on water.
World Water Day, 22 March 2021, is about what water means to people, its true value and how we can better protect this vital resource.
Your voice will help shape the forthcoming World Water Day campaign, leading up to 22 March 2021. And your conversations will inform a report about what water means to people around the world.
