World Fisheries Day 2015

In 2013, the United Nations officially designated 19th November as World Toilet Day in a bid to make sanitation for all a global development priority. This day is celebrated globally by NGOs, UN agencies, the private sector, civil society organisations and the international communities. It deemes the practice of open-air defecation as “extremely harmful” to public health.
This year’s theme focuses on “Toilets and Nutrition.”
