WILDLIFE WEEK 2015

Theme: "Living with Wildlife"
As usual the celebration of Wildlife Week has been scheduled to be held during the month of October to commemorate the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.
Following activities are being organized by the Wildlife Circle of Forest Environment & Wildlife Management Department to commemorate the Wildlife Week Celebration 2015 in all four districts of State mainly involving school children in awareness Campaign.
- Printing and distribution of messages of Honorable Prime Minister of India & Honorable Chief Minister of Sikkim in collaboration with the State, Education, Tribal, Tourism, Publicity Department & non-governmental organizations.
- Display of banners with slogans in strategic points in all districts.
- Awareness programme on Wildlife in all district.
- Students rally involving school teachers, students & pubic.
- Essay/Painting/Quiz Competitions by the students on wildlife & environment.
- Radio talk through All India Radio & FM stations.
