The United Nations’ (UN) International Day for the Preservation of the Ozone Layer is celebrated on 16th September every year. This event commemorates the date of the signing of the Montreal Protocol on Substances that deplete the Ozone Layer in 1987.

The theme for this year is “OZONE: All there is between you and UV”.
