The Department of Environmental Science & Engineering at Indian School of Mines Dhanbad is orgzing 3 days training program on "Air QualityAssessment, Prediction and Control of Industrial Areas" during September 17-19, 2015.
Air pollution, one of the biggest environmental issue we face, is often associated with urbanization and industrialization. As a developing country, India is facing challenges in maintaining comfortable environment with respect to air pollution. Keeping in veiw of these challenges this training program is designed to provide a comprehensive knowledge on air pollution, its sources and harmful consequences. Main emphasis will be focused on its Monitoring & Assessment as per satutory guidelines, followed by air quality prediction and effective control technologies. trainig program will aslo focus on hands on various air monitoring as well as analysis instruments.
