World Day for Safety and Health at Work
April 28, 2015
This day is celebrated globally on 28th April every year to commemorate the workers who have died or have been injured in the course of their work. It also promotes a preventative culture by creating awareness among workers on Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) issues and also focuses on international attention on emerging trends in the field of OSH, magnitude of work-related injuries, diseases and fatalities worldwide.
The 2015 theme of the World Day is “Join in building a Culture of Prevention on OSH”.
