Teacher’s Training Programme on 27th and 28th November 2014 for 200 schools of Sikkim State – National Green Corps Programme Sikkim

ENVIS Centre, Department of Forests, Environment & Wildlife Management, Government of Sikkim is organizing a Teacher’s Training for 200 green teachers from various schools of the State on the 27th and 28th of November, 2014 at Forest Conference Hall, Deorali, Gangtok. (Time 10 AM to 4 PM)
The training is intended to provide basic guidelines in setting up and strengthening of your school’s ECO-CLUB for which a financial grant-in-aid of Rs.2500/- (Rupees twenty five hundred only) under National Green Corps (NGC) programme as sanctioned by the Government of India will be released through cheques. Resource persons from Centre for Environment Education (CEE) North-East have been invited to impart the training. This training is also an important component for competing for Chief Minister’s Green School Rolling TrophyandState-level Green School Awards 2015.
