Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Birthday- 14th November is a day celebrated in India every year to mark the occasion of the birthday of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the leader of India’s nationalist movement. As a tribute Children's Day is also celebrated on the first Prime Minister of India, Jawaharlal Nehru’s birthday. He gave emphasis to the significance of giving love and affection to children, who are the bright future of India. The main purpose of this day is to encourage the welfare of children all over the country.
