WORLD OZONE DAY 2014

It has been celebrated since 1994 and was established by UN General Assembly on September 16th to remember the signing of the Montreal Protocol on substances that deplete the Ozone Layer in 1987. The day is mainly intended to spread awareness of the depletion of the ozone layer and search for solutions to preserve it.
The 2014 theme for World Ozone Day focuses on “Ozone Layer Protection: The Mission Goes On.”
