National Energy Conservation Day : National Energy Conservation Day is observed in India on 14th December. India has an act in this area - The Energy Conservation Act 2001.The Energy Conservation Act 2001 is implemented by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), a statutory body under Government of India. The act envisages creation of cadre of professionally qualified energy managers and auditors with expertise in energy management, project management, financing and implementation of energy efficiency projects, as well as policy analysis.
