Environment Education Programme (EEP) erstwhile National Green Corps Programme funded by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC), Government of India aims to impart non-formal environment education through varied pedagogical initiatives. The programme supplements the knowledge that the children and young generation gain from classrooms with experience from nature and hands-on activities. In this regard, it is desired that the activities undertaken under EEP be distinctively marked through the use of an exclusive logo.
Forest and Environment Department, Government of Sikkim being the Implementing Agency (IA) of the MoEF&CC for Sikkim State, hereby, announces a competition to design a logo for EEP. The competition is open for all School and College Eco-Clubs of Sikkim state. The entries could be either from individual students or from a team. The best entries will be submitted to MoEF&CC for evaluation and selecting the winning entry which would be adopted as the logo for EEP and the final winner would be appropriately rewarded.
Interested schools/ colleges from Sikkim State should submit their best entries to Forest and Environment Department, Government of Sikkim via email at sik@envis.nic.in
Entries submitted directly to the Ministry (MoEF&CC) through any other channel or by any other mode would not be considered for evaluation.
The last date for accepting entries is March 04, 2024.
