Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav: The officers and staff of Sikkim State Forest and Environment celebrated Gandhi Jayanti (October 2, 2021) at Forest Secretariat premises and across the State with short awareness drive, signature campiagn on curbing the use of Single Use Plastics. The programe was followed by cleanup drive of the premises. The event also launched the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav Iconic Week celebration (October 4-10, 2021) upon the direction of the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change.
