EMPLOYMENT NOTICE
Applications are invited from the eligible local candidates for filling up of following posts in the State Pollution Control Board, Government of Sikkim through viva voce, purely on contractual basis for a period of 01 (one) year.

ELIGIBILITY
Essential Qualifications:
a. MSc. in Botany/ Zoology/ Chemistry/ Bio-Chemistry/ Ecology & Environment, with minimum 60% marks (5% relaxation for the reserved category candidates) from a recognized University.
b. Candidate must be in possession of either Sikkim Subject Certificate or Certificate of Identification issued by the competent authority under relevant orders of the State Government.
c. Excellent knowledge and skills in computer applications.
d. Should have attained the age of 21 years, but should not have exceeded 40 years as on the date of application.
Desirable experience or qualifications:
a. Field work experience in the field of environment/ pollution control related subjects..
b. Good communication skill in Nepali and English.
c. Physically fit for touring in mountainous region.
d. Knowledge of Environmental Acts & Laws.
Mode of Application: Candidates must submit the application in the format given along with the following documents:
1. Copy of certificate of Identification/Sikkim Subject.
2. Attested copies of educational qualification from Class X onwards.
3. Work experience certificate, if any.
4. Copy of valid employment card.
5. All other relevant supporting documents.
Mode of Selection: Received applications will be scrutinized, and short listed candidates will be called to appear before the selection committee for viva voce which will be held in the last week of March 2021. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. The decision of the Committee will be final and binding. The Committee reserves the right to withdraw/cancel the award without assigning any reason. The candidates on selection shall not have any right of claims for regularization for permanent absorption under the Department.
