Indian State-level Basic Environment Information Database (ISBEID)
ISBEID is a web-enabled software developed by National Informatics Centre (NIC) for the Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change, Government of India under the Environmental Information System [ENVIS] Project. The software is to enable the State ENVIS Centres on Status of Environment and Related Issues to feed data directly into the database server using the web-interface in the ENVIS Portal.
A software module for a spatial interface with GIS application in the ISBEID software has been developed as a one stop information provider on environment status for the states/UTs. The ISBEID software has 17 modules (link to the modules) and will be implemented by all the States/UT ENVIS Centres.
