PCCF-cum-Secretary Shri M L Srivastava administered Swachhata Hi Seva pledge participated by officers and staff stationed at the Forest Secretariat at Deoarli Gangtok on the early working hours of 15th September 2018. The pledge taking ceremony was then followed by cleanup drive of the Forest Secretariat premises.
Swachhata Hi Seva 2018 is a jan andolan for Swachhata to be observed in the run-up to the 4th anniversary of the Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM), i.e. from September 15th to October 2nd 2018. All NGOs, schools, colleges, social, cultural and political leaders, corporates, government officials, collectors and sarpanches are taking part in Swachhata Hi Seva and Shramdaan activities during this period.
