Whereas, the State Pollution Control Board-Sikkim is the Regulatory Authority of all types of enterprises such as factories of all types, hydro-electric power projects, hotels, resorts, restaurants, workshops, fabrications units, solid waste generating units, biomedical waste generating units (Hospitals, clinics, clinical labs) sewerage units, stone crusher, hot mix plants, stone quarries, D.G. sets, mobile towers, petrol pumps, photo studios, diary, bakery, jewellery shops and such other enterprises which are liable for causing water and air pollution. These units mandatorily require consent to establish/operate as well as renewal of consent annually from State Pollution Control Board-Sikkim.

All the units under establishment/operation falling under the above mentioned category are hereby directed to submit their application to Member Secretary, State Pollution Control Board-Sikkim, Deorali, Gangtok within 31st March 2016 for renewal of their consents. Any unit which fails to apply within 31st March 2016 shall be liable to pay fine/penalty as prescribed by the Government / Board.
