EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
Expression of Interest is invited from the interested and eligible agencies including Scientific & Technical Institutions, Universities, NGOs, Community based organizations capable of preparing database on tradable bio-resources along with their Economic Valuation and Associated Traditional Knowledge in Sikkim state under the UNEP-GEF-MoEF-ABS funded project on “Strengthening the implementation of the Biological Diversity Act and rules with focus on its Access and benefit sharing provisions” being co-ordinated by National biodiversity Authority, Chennai.
The applying agencies/ Organization must have experience of working on documentation and biological wealth, mainly tradable bio-resources and have familiarity with Economic Valuation of bio-resources and they shall have skilled professionals with good liaising capabilities at stakeholder level. The preference will be given to organisation working in Sikkim State.
The duration of the assignment is 3 (three) months which will be in accordance with the terms and conditions of the work. Interested agencies/organizations should submit their proposals in the format which can be downloaded from the link below. The last date for submission of EOI is 20/11/2014, by not later than 16:00 hours. The filled in proposals along with enclosures shall reach the office of the Member Secretary, Sikkim Biodiversity Board, Forest Secretariat on or before the last date and time.

Sikkim Biodiversity Board, reserves the right to accept or reject the EOI without assigning any reasons thereof.
